Abstract

The research was conducted on a sample of 168 subjects divided into two subsamples, 91 (48 boys and 43 girls) children who were the subjects of urban settlement pattern and 77 children (41 boys and 36 girls) who were the subjects of rural sttlement pattern. They were all aged 10 – 11. The multivariate analysis of variance revealed that there werestatistically significant differences in motor behavior in children of different residential status. If we look at gender: there were statistically significant differences at the values (F = 7.35; P = 0.00) in boys. Statistically significant differences were also stated in girls at the values (F = 3.48; P = 0.00). In terms of individual motor variables statistically significant differences were observed in the factor for structuring the movement, manifested with the variable Polygon backwards in favor of rural boys. The girls from the urban area exhibited statistically significant differences in the factor for structuring the movement, manifested with the variable Standing long jump and the functional synergy factor and the regulation of muscle tone, manifested with the variable Seated forward bend with spread legs.
