About the Journal

Nova škola - Journal of the theory and practice of modern school and preschool education (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) deals with the specific topic of theory and practice of educational work at all levels of the educational system (from preschool education to lifelong learning). According to its basic purpose, it is dedicated to the collection and promotion of modern pedagogical ideas from around the world and in our country, and to the affirmation of new scientific knowledge and achievements. The topics of the journal are flexibly set and timely innovated in accordance with the changes in the world, so that it suits the authors in terms of freedom of choice of topics and interdisciplinary approach in professional and scientific works.

The journal publishes original, previously unpublished works in the following categories: original scientific, overview, professional, short or previous announcements, scientific reviews (controversies, debates), informative articles and reviews of publications or meetings).

Papers in the journal must be written in Serbian, English or the languages ​​of the former Yugoslav republics (Croatian, Macedonian and Slovenian), with a summary in English. For papers in the Serbian language, the Cyrillic alphabet is mandatory.

 

The journal is published once a year, in December.

 

The journal publishes papers from the following areas: preschool education and education, school as the main support of the education system, classroom and subject teaching methods, higher education and university teaching, inclusion, adult education, professional development, lifelong learning, etc.

The journal is indexed in the EBSCO database and is available in open access mode.

Articles published in the journal can be downloaded free of charge from the journal's website and used for purposes defined by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY-4.0) license. SELF-ARCHIVING

 

The journal allows authors to deposit the accepted, peer-reviewed version of the manuscript as well as the final, published version in PDF format in institutional repositories and non-commercial databases, such as Pub Med Central, Europe PMC or arXiv, or to publish it on personal websites (including and profiles on social networks for scientists, such as Research Gate, Academia.edu, etc.) and/or on the website of the institution where they are employed, and in accordance with the provisions of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC-BY-4.0) in any time after publication in the journal. Basic bibliographic data about the article published in the journal must be provided (authors, paper title, journal title, volume, volume, pagination), and the identifier of the digital object - DOI of the published article must be provided in the form of an HTML link.
