Abstract

The text presents the basic settings of the constructivist approach to learning, as well as some theoretical propositions that clarify the way in which the analogies can be applied to stimulation of learning. Subsequently, the role of analogies in learning is discussed from the perspective of constructivist settings. It points to the multiple roles that analogies have in the knowledge construction process.
