Abstract

The paper discusses the issue of early education of children in the light of the social context that is observed through political, economical and cultural conditionality of early education and community programs that aimto support early education program with emphasis on the program for early childhood development in the Republic of Srpska. Also the family is taken into consideration, as one of the most important factors in the life of a child,in the family it achieves some of it’s most important primary and secondary needs, adopted attitudes and values and form habits that will follow later in life. Role of the family has been observed in the upbringing of the child based on the parents’ commitment to parental roles and severity of certain aspects of children’s development. The paper points to a wider range of social actors and institutions that may support early education, and the importance of family involvement in early education of children who achieve different effects on certain aspects of child’s development.
