UNORGANIZED SPENDING FREE TIME AS A CAUSE OF YOUTH ASOCIAL BEHAVIOR

Abstract

It is obvious that young people and children often find no way how to use their free time. We often say that they are disoriented, bored, inactive, uninterested, and so on. Such individuals have a wrong picture of themselves, they have no self-confidence, they are emotionally unbalanced, and so on. They most often spend their free time in the same way, without pedagogically designed and acceptable activities, and they hardly achieve integration with the environment, that is, with other people, groups, collectives, the social environment, etc. Free time fills an individual if he is satisfied or spontaneous. In addition, leisure time can also be a source of a number of problems and negative phenomena such as asocial behavior and juvenile delinquency. This paper aims to give answers whether unorganized leisure time influences the emergence of young people's asocial behavior, that is, to examine differences in the quality of various activities in the use of free time between students who exhibit and students who do not exhibit asocial behavior.
