DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTHENING OF COMPETENCE IN MUSIC EDUCATION SECTOR

Focusing our attention on developing and strengthening competencies in music education, this paper aimed at the presentation of different approaches to acquiring them. The work contains the competencies that have been identified by Russian scientists (Trjapicina, Radionova, Cipin) together with the competencies that we have proposed. The synthesis of the known data with what we suggested, in our opinion, is to create a compact scientific and practical usable whole. In this paper, we pointed out some of the problems that accompany the acquisition of competence in music education, some of which are: insufficient number of students with previously acquired musical education, lack of time for a better introduction to the vocal and instrumental tuition in school, and the lack of papers in the area the former Yugoslavia dealing with this issue.
