USE OF EDUCATIONAL SITES IN THE PREPARATION AND REALISATION ACTIVITIES IN ELEMENTARY GRADES

Intensive development of the Internet opened, but and imposed plenty of opportunities to use it in the teaching process. WWW is one of most used Internet services. Web offers a number of educational sites that can be used in the preparation and realization of teaching if they fulfilled at least three conditions: technical - technological equipment of schools, computer literacy teacher and didactic - methodical competence for the implementation of educational sites in the teaching process. This paper perceived the use and highlighted the limitations in the use of educational sites in the preparation and realization of teaching in elementary grades. Through empirical research (which included 184 teachers) we examined the relationship between availability and use of the Internet at home and at school, educational sites that teachers use, with special attention to the use of content from educational portal Edu-soft, frequency of use of educational sites by subject and opinions of teachers about the difficulties in the use of educational sites in the classroom. Based on theoretical knowledge and results of empirical research we have formulated suggestions for more efficient and more effective use of educational sites in the teaching process.
