Abstract

The author distinguishes civilization as a technical success and culture as a spiritual success. The paper emphasizes the deliberate reduction of time for reflection, which has as consequences lightheadedness, inaccuracy of thought, and enlarges the space for manipulation. Law and pedagogy are the art of argumentation. Although they have ontological limit, they both can be allies of virtue.
